What's in our Bug Bite Relief?

Activated oxygen (ozone) is a naturally produced purifying agent. It becomes a scavenger that destroys bacteria, viruses and other contaminates. It is known to help reduce or eliminate itching caused by bug and insect bites. Activated oxygen is so safe that it is widely used to purify bottled water and to clean organic food.  

Ozonated olive oil serves as the main carrier oil and is one of the most popular natural remedies you'll find. Our olive oil is organic, extra-virgin oil that is fully saturated with ozone to form an oxygen-rich salve. It has been used for over a century for a wide variety of skin problems with great success, and in some places veterinarians are now recommending it for use on animals. This is a medium-strength oil.

Ozonated sunflower oil and the Vitamin E it contains can help with cell regeneration in the skin where it has been wounded from the bite. It also includes beta-carotene and Vitamin A. This is our second strongest oil.

Ozonated hemp oil is referred to as “nature's Band-Aid.” It helps keep air away from the bite to prevent contaminates from entering. Our hemp oil does not contain any THC or psychoactive ingredients. This is our strongest oil.

Ozonated avocado oil is very easy to absorb and can have anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain relieving) properties. This is a medium-strength oil with unique characteristics.

Clove oil has analgesic, antiseptic and antimicrobial properties that can help relieving pain from the bite with a slow, lasting numbing effect. Clove oil is also used for reducing infections. It also helps make the formula smell nicer and acts as a natural preservative so the product will last longer.

Rosemary oil is also a natural preservative, and has antiseptic, antimicrobial and pain relief properties. Depending on skin type, number of insects and your location, rosemary may help repel further bites to the area
