Recent research suggests that daily supplementation with flaxseed oil for eight weeks supports healthy levels of EPA and DPA, a DHA precursor and likely storage form of EPA. Fatty acids promote cardiovascular health and support optimal skin health and hydration. ALA may help to maintain platelet and endothelial cell function.
